this is seriously goin to be one hell of a long entry.
i just came back from LTC! WOOO.!! what can i say.. it rawked. actually we're supposed to be released at 12 but due to the upcomin tournament we left earlier to train for tmr's matches. but i'm missing my Archangels already!!! ): i know at camp break everyones gonna get a lil emotional den we can do the camp songs (Dum Dum Dee Dee!) and our famous PARA PARA. =D
throughout this camp, i felt really bonded and close to my group members. i got to know them a step better and i'm so glad to be posted to Archangels. (Even though err. pweetiee boy was in group G-String. =x) the spirit and the enthusiasm just flowed out of everyone naturally. we felt for each other, understood each other and patiently waited for each other. we tried to not leave anyone out of our conversations and cheers. bondings in a group is easy but bonding as a whole group is actually not. we managed to do what others might have failed to. (:

it had been 4 whole days since i last updated and i just feel like recapping and reflecting on the LTC (Leadership Training Camp) held at bukit timah dairy farm. and no, it's
NOT a place where we spent our days milking cows. heh.. -.-
Day Oneokay. the day before this, van and me had squash trainin at tampines safra at 11. after that we rushed down to meet our fellow group members to further discuss the ice breakers which happened to be our first event. we freaked out at late afternoon cos we realised that we wasted the day away when we were supposed to come up with our skit and dance. luckily later at night tian wei could come up with various dance steps to fit into our para para song. the next mornin, we specially came to school earlier to pract our dance moves with the lil time we had. hey, i was surprised cos we caught on really fast! =D then we had our briefing for ice breakers.
we departed for the camp site early with Hicredibles cos we were the first event. (thinking about it, van and me missed goin and comin back with the whole group of campers.) anyways we helped with the logistics. it was darn heavy la. then we had our first item of the day, ice breakers. there was some preperation that was needed to be done for our stations. we had to also choose suitable locations for the events to take place. overall it went on quite smoothly. the weather was fine. it was fun gettin to be the one blowin the whistle signifyin the end of one station. =p~
then came our leadership talk. at night we had our
solo night walk! ha. Archangels went for the jungle trail at around close to midnight. it was pitch dark! i was the 2nd girl to enter, also the 3rd person to go on the solo walk through the path. it was very memorable cos we had to walk through this big open field with a starry sky hung above us, when u face ur right u see mountains and trees. which was damn nice! it reminded me of the scenes in final fantasy. (:
Day Twomornin PT was cancelled cos we were tired out by the night walk. we had our high elements on that day. (The flying fox, pole jump etc..) yup. temasek poly has similar stuff. except that the flying fox at the camp site was 4 storeys high!!! man. i was quite lookin forward to that. however, due to bad weather, we had to skip a station. and
that was what we had to forgo. anyways, we proceeded on with positive attitudes. we went on every stunt. even those with fear of heights overcame them. at the same time we started to become more open with our comments and our cheers just got louder and louder. (:
at night we had a leadership talk again.
Day Threethe most happenin day - when we really revealed Archangel's spirit.
started the day with bad weather hence the amazing race had to be cancelled. i was quite interested in that event though. ahah. cos we get to walk to jungle route once again. through the open field in the day! how cool is that. durin our free time we started to play games like chop chilli chop and Hello harry. ahahs. i dunno how we ended up combinin with group Brudders to do the friendship dance. then from 2 groups we expanded to having all the groups (except Elements) joinin us in it. haha. yup. at least i got to dance with pweetiee boy! (:
anyways, we had to do dragon boating in the afternoon! (that explains the redness of my face. got slightly burnt.) we shared a bus with group G-String. (and i was damn happy abt it cos pweetiee boy was 2 seats in front of me. =x) and then Archangels started goin high again. singin songs, oldies like songs from ackstreet boys and micheal learns to rock, with mus pollutin my ear with his voice. lol!! nah i'm kiddin it wasn't that bad. =x
dragon boating was no doubt v tiring but it was truly an experience i'd never forget. the one two push motions were damn difficult to catch up with! it was then that the group Crappyangels (a mix of grp A and C) were formed. we were brought to the middle of the sea where we were told to rock the boat left and right, up and down. haha. it was fun! somethin like pirates ship. =x after that me and val cheah jumped off the boat into the water to swim. slowly we managed to convince everyone to get into the water and we did the friendship dance in the sea! haha.. we even raced with the other groups back to the startin point! and we came in 3rd! so fun.. when we got back to shore, took a group pic and we were told that we were gonna get even dirtier! (erm. if u were wonderin why i said "even dirtier", the sea water wasn't exactly very clean la. there were already marks on my completely white shirt.) hahaha. *stunned.
group G-String led us to the other side of the beach where we had to fill a 1.5 litre bottle and a cardboard box fully with water and sand respectively. hahas. Archangels rawks la. we practially stripped our shirt to aid those collecting water. =p~
in the end, we won! of cos rite! Archangels! POWER.
after that we headed back to get ready for campfire! (:
bathed then met up with the others at the entrance where we pract our para para for the last time before goin on stage. we were the first up cos it's arranged accordin to alphabetical order. *it has always been that way. lol.*
I LOVE CAMPFIRE. i enjoyed the performances thoroughly! even ours. it was like no stress man. just follow the beat. follow ur heart. and things fall into place just like that. the guys pageant was funny. ahahas. cos mus got me to be his dance partner and we were damn high. so it was like madness. lol. it was quite interestin though. then we did friendship dance (YES i managed ti dance with him again.) and campfire cheers.
we did the mj school song, mj mass dance, mj cheers. we were at our peak then.
but what struck me was the "Mhm. I want to linger here. Mhm. A lil longer here. Mhm. A lil longer here
with youuuuuu. Mhm. It's such a perfect night. Mhm. It doesn't seem quite right. Mhm. It doesn't seem quite right tonight." song. that signified the end of the campfire and our stay at the dairy farm with these bunch of amazing people. it's touchin and i felt it sink into my heart. cos the tune was quite depressing. that song would always remind me of mus and his sick version of it. (:
we had our final debrief of the day. den we played truth or dare. i kena 3 times. 2 truths one dare. haha. the dare was to hold hands with pweetiee boy and walk! oh my. cos of mus la. i saw that comin already. but i was happy (and nervous? =x) la. since he had to quickly get back to his group he raised his hand first den i just took hold of it and walked forward till we reached our group den he hurried back. lols. it's just a game.
this mornin i skipped endurance run. was quite pissed with somethin but i won't say it here. siao ar. haha. anyways, we helped out with the cleanin up of the canteen, mopped the whole chain of army ants out of the canteen. and then packed up (i realised that i forgot to bring back my eatin utensils. =x) and came back home.
there's no place like home sweet home!
time to pract squash with my new grip.
